OUTSOURCING
When regional development agency One North East wanted to create a capacity building and bidding service to support festivals and events in the north east of England they turned to FEI to assemble a range of specialists in culture and sport, destination marketing and programme delivery, who rolled out the North East Festivals and Events Service across the region.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The London Borough of Greenwich engaged FEI as project managers to develop The Greenwich Festivals, an umbrella initiative, supporting eight different festival organisers in the Borough and promoting Greenwich as a major festival destination in London.  Rather than employ a Director, the Council asked FEI to act as co-ordinator for the project from 2010 to 2013.

INTERIM MANAGEMENT

Sometime you need help fast and access to specialist advice on-site for a defined period whilst you recruit a permanent solution. FEI has an unrivalled network of senior practitioners who have managed some of the world’s great festivals and venues.  The Step Development Trust needed support for management transition at the Venue, Stocksbridge and following a detailed business review FEI were able to supply an interim General Manager for six months. In Cambridge the City Council asked FEI to provide an Interim Manager for the Cambridge Corn Exchange for four months whilst recruitment took place.
